FENTON, MI - Fenton is known for a variety of great things, but now, thanks to a partnership between two local non-profits and several businesses it can be considered a weekend craft fair destination.

The large, well-known events, The Fenton United Methodist Church Holiday Craft & Small Business Expo and The State Road Arts & Craft Show, are being held on the same weekend for the seventh year in a row, on Saturday, November 21st and Sunday, November 22nd.

“This is a great opportunity to bring the community out to both of these fabulous events,” says Bonnie Leyder of the Fenton United Methodist Church.

The weekend will kick off with the Fenton United Methodist Church Holiday Craft & Small Business Expo 10-3 PM on November 21. More than 70 vendors will fill two floors of the Family Life Center at 119 South Leroy Street, Fenton. Enjoy a Yummy Lunch!

The 1:30 Fashion Show will be presented by Creative Fashions, Battle Alley, Holly.

Door Prizes include Gift Certificates from Fairfield Inn Fenton, Fenton Fire House, Mancino’s of Fenton, J.D. Michel Salon & Day Spa, Uncle Ray’s Ice Cream, Creative Fashions, & Foods from Bob Evans.

We have over $1,500 of Door Prizes and Silent Auction Items each year!!  Proceeds from the event will benefit the Fenton FUMC’s Family Life Center and its Ministries including Family Promise of Genesee County. Admission is just $2.

The State Road Craft Show is now in its 40th year and features more than 160 juried vendors. The event benefits the State Road PTO with the proceeds funding scholarships, books and supplies. It will take place at the Fenton High School at 3200 S Shiawassee in Fenton on November 22 from 10 am to 4pm.  Our kitchen features wonderful local restaurants. Admission is $2.  No strollers allowed.

Out of town visitors will enjoy group rate discounts during the Craft Fair Weekend at Fenton’s Fairfield Inn. Call 810-629-0400, Ask for Code “FSS” the Fenton Craft Show Weekend Rates.

“It’s really going to be a special weekend,” says Leyder. “A lot of people really love craft shows, and we encourage visitors to come enjoy Fenton and all of the great businesses & restaurants that we have here.”
