You can't help but want to enter the inviting gold, purple and green storefront known as Yesterday's Treasures located on the corner of Leroy and Mill Street. The charming and unique antique shop is celebrating their 15 year anniversary, and it does not disappoint even the most curious of shoppers.

Yesterday's Treasures has a vast collection of beautiful antique jewelry, including necklaces, earrings and pins. Owner Sue Olson established a relationship with a collector that sold to her exclusively for many years. The fabulous pieces are of a quality that could not be duplicated today.

Additionally, beautiful antique lighting is found in the store, along with china, stemware, and furniture. Sue rewires all of the lighting to make sure that it works properly before it is sold. In fact, care goes into every piece in her store, like it was her own. “I look at every piece in the store and care for it as if it was going in my own home,” says Sue.

Then, she takes time to do research on the pieces so that fair and honest pricing can be given. “I want to be able to pass on these items to customers with reasonable pricing. I don't purchase anything I wouldn't want for myself,” says Sue.

Sue has return customers and visitors that stop in each year while on vacation in the area. Her character and reputation have made her a successful business owner for 15 years in Fenton.

Sue's inventory is always changing, so be sure to stop in to see what's new. And be sure to wish her a Happy Anniversary! Yesterday's Treasures is located at 300 S. Leroy Street in Fenton, MI.
