Smith has had a photography studio in Grand Blanc for the past six years. Smith recognized that many of his clients were travelling from Fenton to Grand Blanc for his services. Since Smith currently lives in Fenton, he thought it was a natural fit to open up the studio.
Smith is no stranger to the camera. Photography started as a hobby in his childhood years, and grew to a passion throughout college and his young adult years. About 10 years ago, he started successfully shooting for NASCAR. His talents led him down the road in other sports, and for the past six years he has been the official team photographer of the Detroit Lions.
Only one of 32 NFL photographers, Smith has worked for both ESPN and Sports Illustratedmagazines. While Smith hardly takes the work for granted, he enjoys having a studio and working with kids and families. Smith says that the same equipment that he uses on his professional shoots is used in his studio, bringing unique and superior quality to his photos, yet in a small, community setting.
“I am very fortunate to have excellent photography equipment and lighting. I love being part of a community and doing one-of-a-kind senior portraits, team shots, weddings, and families, “says Smith. “I strive to give you a very professional experience at an affordable cost.”
